NSSLHA is an optional student run organization offered through colleges and universities in which speech-language pathology and audiology students can participate. It is a great way for students to become more involved with the profession, support the community, and develop leadership and teamwork skills through several student-elected positions. There are many opportunities in which the individual chapters can choose to participate, such as the annual speech and hearing walks, research studies, educational events by guest speakers, fundraising, etc.
